Policy

Your data is yours. The brokerage provides tooling, not control.

MyAgentFlow was built on a principle that's unusual in real-estate software: the agent owns the data, not the brokerage. This page documents what that means in practice — today on individual plans, and as a non-negotiable commitment on any future team or brokerage plan.

What the agent owns — non-negotiable, today and forever

  • Your contacts. Every lead captured by your forms, imported from a CSV, or added manually is scoped to your user account. The brokerage cannot read, export, or repossess them.
  • Your content. Home page, landing pages, lead magnets, drip emails, social posts, chatbot transcripts — written by you (or AI in your voice) and tied to your user account.
  • Your custom domain. Domains purchased through MyAgentFlow are yours to control — registered through us with WHOIS privacy protection (so spammers can't scrape your home address), and transferable to any other registrar at any time after the standard 60-day registrar lock. You hold full registrant rights: DNS control, transfer authorization, renewal, and cancellation. We cannot move or sell a domain out from under you.
  • Your AI persona. The tone, value prop, specialty, signature, and other voice cues you teach the AI travel with your account.
  • Your performance history. Email open / click / reply data, lead scores, drip enrollment history, social post drafts — all scoped to your user account.

What a brokerage CAN influence (when team plans launch)

On a future Team or Brokerage plan, the brokerage owner gets value from providing a unified surface for their agents. But the value is tooling, not control. Specifically:

  • Compliance disclaimers. Brokerage license info, fair-housing language, and required regulatory footers can be set at the tenant level so every agent's site stays compliant.
  • Brokerage logo on shared surfaces. A small brokerage mark in the footer / signature is fine. Hero photos, agent bios, value-props, brand colors stay agent-controlled.
  • Seat distribution + billing. The brokerage holds the master subscription; per-seat allocation handled at the tenant level.
  • Shared photo library. Brokerage-supplied stock photos available to every agent. Agents can still upload + use their own.
  • Shared lead magnets. A brokerage can publish a master "Buyer Guide" all agents can deploy. Agent-authored magnets remain the agent's.

What a brokerage CANNOT do — ever

  • Read or export your contacts. Brokerage admins do not have row-level access to any individual agent's leads. This is enforced by Postgres row-level security, not by policy — there is no admin button that bypasses it.
  • Modify or delete your content. Brokerage owners can offer shared resources but cannot edit, hide, or remove anything you authored.
  • Claim your domain. Even if the brokerage's master account paid the registration fee at signup, the domain belongs to YOU as the operator. On departure we issue the transfer auth code to the agent — the brokerage has no claim and no override. Registration is held under WHOIS privacy; legal ownership is established by the platform contract, not by the public WHOIS record.
  • Lock you out at departure. When an agent leaves a brokerage (mutually or otherwise), the agent retains access to their account for at least 30 days during which they can either (a) migrate to their own individual plan and keep everything, or (b) export the full dataset and walk.

Leaving — what happens

Three departure scenarios, all preserve your data:

  • You cancel your individual subscription. Your content + contacts + domain are retained for 30 days. Reactivating in that window puts everything back exactly as it was. After 30 days, content is deleted but the export ZIP you downloaded is yours forever.
  • You switch from a brokerage plan to your own. One-click migration: your existing content, contacts, domain, and chat history transfer to a new personal tenant under your name. No re-import, no re-setup. (This feature ships when team plans launch.)
  • The brokerage cancels their master subscription. Every agent on the plan gets a 30-day window with full export access + the option to migrate to a personal subscription and keep their data.

Export your data, today

You don't have to wait for a leaving event. Any user can download a full ZIP of their account data at any time:

  1. Sign in to your MyAgentFlow account.
  2. Go to Settings → Plan & Billing.
  3. Scroll to "Your data is yours. Take it with you." and click ↓ Export everything.

The ZIP includes: contacts.csv, campaigns.csv, campaign-enrollments.csv, landing-pages.csv, home-page.csv, lead-magnets.csv, social-posts.csv, email-history.csv, and a full-export.json for round-trip imports back to MyAgentFlow or any other tool.

The legal layer

The promises on this page are reflected in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Any future Team or Brokerage Master Services Agreement will carry these portability protections as non-negotiable clauses. We won't sign a brokerage contract that strips an agent of these rights — that's the wedge MyAgentFlow was built on.
